Woman sustains injuries whilst a passenger in taxi
A car ran into the back of a taxi when the driver suddenly stopped causing injury to our client.
Our client was very shaken but unaware of her injury following the accident. She developed pain in her neck and right hip, radiating to her right shoulder. She was given strong painkillers for the ongoing neck and shoulder pain. She received physiotherapy treatment and was then referred to an Orthopaedic Clinic and subsequently had to have a MRI scan.
She underwent surgery and was in a sling for four weeks followed by further physiotherapy.
Following the accident our client was required to take one day off work and six weeks following surgery.
We helped the lady to make a claim and she was awarded £12,000 in compensation in an out of Court settlement.
