Irwin Mitchell successfully secures compensation for Coventry lady following road traffic accident

Our client Sarah was seriously injured when she was involved in a head-on car collision, caused by the other vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road and at speed.  The driver has since been convicted.

As a result of the road traffic accident, Sarah sustained serious orthopaedic and internal injuries, including complex hip fractures and dislocation involving damage to the sciatic nerve.  Sarah was determined to recover, regain her independence and return to work (albeit part time) but the severity of the injuries she sustained meant her future was not secure. 

Sarah instructed expert solicitor Ann Houghton, from Irwin Mitchell’s Serious Injury team in Birmingham to represent her claim for compensation.  Ann negotiated £150,000 in compensation in an out of court settlement on Sarah’s behalf.
