Irwin Mitchell solicitors hopeful for successful claim
On 18 June 2011 our client was travelling as a passenger on a hired bus. As the vehicle drove along the Kingsway A725 towards Westwood, East Kilbride another bus collided with the rear of it.
The force of the collision threw our client forward into the seat in front of him, causing his shoulder and chest to glance off of it and his neck to jerk awkwardly.
Following the accident, our client attended his GP at Hunter Health Centre in East Kilbride and, having been diagnosed with having whiplash and bruising, was given a prescription for painkillers.
Although our client has recovered from the majority of his injuries, he now wakes up every morning with a stiff neck from which he had never suffered prior to the accident.
Liability has been admitted in this case and we have instructed a medical report on our client’s injuries to support his claim. We are confident that this will result in a successful conclusion.
