Driver hits pedestrian after failing to stop at a red light
A man who was knocked down whilst using a pedestrian crossing in Sheffield has been paid £25,000 in compensation by the driver's insurers. It was alleged that the driver had failed to stop at a red light and collided with our client, Pete.
Pete sustained multiple injuries including a broken collarbone, dislocated fingers and fractured eye socket. He required surgery on his injuries and was in hospital for 4 days before undergoing physiotherapy as an outpatient.
The compensation obtained by our road traffic accident experts was paid to Pete for his pain and suffering and the expenses he incurred as a result of the collision.
