Compensation for woman injured as a passenger in a road traffic collision

The specialist Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield has assisted a client to obtain compensation after she was injured in a road traffic collision.

The client was a passenger in a car being driving by her boyfriend at the time. He had been drinking and was not insured to drive the car. He lost control of the vehicle and a collision occurred.

Our client had also been drinking and cannot remember the accident itself. She suffered a head injury, soft tissue injuries to her neck and back and bruising to her chest. She has been left with a 1.5 - 2 inch scar on her forehead.

We secured £5,000 in compensation for our client.
